is used in the analysis of cements, rocks, silicates, ashes etc. These
disks were carefully selected to provide wide calibration ranges of the most
common elements. The disks are used as 'MONITORS' for the
elimination of drift in the slope and intercept of calibration graphs.
Because they are made from glass, they offer long term stability under the
X-ray beam and they are resistant to moisture. The disk surface is polished
